Accreditation & Registration
SPONSORS' REGISTER
Any college recruiting students from abroad will need to be registered on a new Home Office Sponsors' Register. To qualify for the register they will have to show they have been accredited by an approved body . The following accreditation bodies have been approved to accredit private educational institutions before they can apply to register on the Home Office's PBS Sponsor Register:
- The Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC)
- The British Accreditation Council (BAC)
- The British Council (for English Language courses)
- The OFSTEAD
ASIC

The Business School of London is accredited by Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC). ASIC is approved by the UK Border Agency for the purposes of sponsorship under the point based system.
Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC) brings independent information to the student population through its accreditation service with well defined and objective benchmarking.
In order to satisfy the needs of other stakeholders, ASIC has identified the following Areas of Operation, which are assessed and given a grade of Commendable, Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory. These grades will not only be taken into account in deciding whether or not to award accreditation to a college, but are helpful in enabling students to make informed choices on where they might study. Areas of Operation: A. Premises and Health and Safety, B. Management and Staff Resources, C. Learning and Teaching; Course Delivery, D. Quality Assurance and Enhancement, E. Student Welfare, F. Qualifications and Awards, G. Marketing and Student Recruitment, H. Relationship with Government Offices and Reporting Mechanisms.
The Business School of London has been inspected and satisfied all the standards laid down by the ASIC. In the Final inspection report by the ASIC stated that The Business School of London has several Areas of Strength and Good Practice and in particular The College have been awarded commendable grades in Area of Operation F and sub-areas A5, D6, E2, G1 and G5.
Association of Business Executives

The Business School of London has been an approved teaching centre of the Association of Business Executives for ABE certificate, Diploma & Advanced Diploma level courses.
Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

The Business School of London is a listed Course provider of the ACCA Fundamentals level and Professional level courses.
British Computer Society

The Business School of London has been an approved teaching centre of the British Computer Society for Certificate and Diploma level courses.
Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)

The Business School of London is a listed Course provider of the CIMA Certificate in Business accounting course.
Confederation of Tourism & Hospitality (CTH)

The Business School of London has been an approved teaching centre of the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality.
Institute of Administrative Management (IAM)

The Business School of London has been an approved teaching centre and examination centre of the Institute of Administrative Management for Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management courses.
ITEC

The Business School of London has been an approved teaching centre of the ITEC for Diploma in Business Competence programme.
